This job posting is for a Senior JavaScript Software Engineer on our Wizeline team. Heres what youll be doing in your daytoday work:
As a Software Engineer at Wizeline you will advocate for the use of cuttingedge technology to build intelligent and scalable products. You will act as a technology partner for our clients from inception to completion while architecting reusable frontend systems. By understanding their needs and translating requirements into worldclass design you will be responsible for delivering highquality applications.
Partner with multidisciplinary teams located across the world (Technical Writing User Experience Product Management and Project Management) to solve challenging problems. As a relationship builder with direct communication with stakeholders you will also drive internal initiatives and objectives.
You will work on projects that will allow you to develop your skills and gain exposure to multinational brands. We promote fun and continuous learning and we are proud of working with the brightest minds in the industry.
- Build scalable responsive and elegant web applications
- Optimize web applications to maximize speed and scale.
- Support maintain and enhance existing web applications
- Develop new APIs to be consumed by millions of users.
- Write clean and maintainable code.

Musthave Skills
To be successful in this role you need:
- 5 years experience developing web applications
- Proven understanding of Computer Science fundamentals including web development serviceoriented architecture cloud computing test driven development and domain driven design
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong understanding of Javascript and the best practices around the web
- Understanding of capabilities with HTML5 and DOM manipulation
- Advanced CSS Knowledge: Grid Flexbox Media Queries
Nicetohave Skills
Some nicetohave qualities that will further help you are:
- BS/MS in Computer Science Engineering or a related subject.
- Familiarity with computer science algorithms and data structures to optimize solutions.
- Handson knowledge of working in an Agile environment.
- Strong experience working with Cloud platforms like AWS and GCP.
- Fluency in Node.js
- Exposure to Docker AWS or other cloud or container based application deployment a plus
- Experience with technologies: ExpressJs React Redis NextJs Terraform Webpack
- Experience with market data charts and/or real time web updates via WebSockets etc. a plus
