Job Description
Main Objective
The Supplier Planner Specialist oversees that material is supplied on time according to the stock requirements of the Toluca Plant and thus avoiding expedited costs of material. As well as management of external suppliers and internal clients
What challenges will you have
- Analyze the needs of raw material assuring its availability in accordance with the production time and quantity requirements.
- Contact suppliers to place the orders of raw materials ensuring shipment dispatch on time.
- Maintain and monitor inventory to ensure availability of goods within stock target
- Track critical materials shipment from suppliers to ensure that production requirements are met.
- Detect and analyze changes on long term forecast to deploy the required actions to meet procurement goals.
- Responsible of solving custom & shipment issues.
- Participate in improvement activity and provide solutions concerning with procurement.
- Responsible for cost forecasting related to the procurement of raw materials.
Qualifications :
Who are we looking for
- Academic Background: International Commerce International Business Trade and international business or Industrial Engineering
- Previous role as planner
- From 3 to 5 years of experience preferably in the Automotive Industry
- Advanced English level is a must
Technical Knowledge
- Knowledge on SAP (P79 Module)
- Intermediate Excel
- PowerBI
- Inventory control
- Material planning
- Shipments tracking
