Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a board certified or eligible pathologist with expertise in genitourinary gastrointestinal or pulmonary pathology.
The successful candidate will:
- Develop and maintain an independent research program in the general areas of surgical pathology
- Participate in the teaching of residents and fellows
- Supervise clerkships for medical students at Brown University
- Providing instructional support to the medical technologist training programs
To be considered you will need:
- MD or equivalent
- Board certification or eligible in Anatomic Pathology by the American Canadian or UK equivalent
- Qualify for a fulltime medical faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor to Associate Professor
- Experience in a university hospital or comparable institution with an active oncology service
- Must qualify for a fulltime medical faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor to Associate Professor
- Candidates applying at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor must have the national and international reputation and scholarly achievements appropriate to each level
