What you can look forward to as Senior EMC Engineer:
- Technical management of small to large EMC validation test programs
- Supervising the set up and setting up and conducting all types of EMC tests and ensuring that test specifications are followed correctly
- Preparation of test time estimates to support the quotation process
- Assisting the EMC Technical Manager with technical improvements and accreditation activities
- Devising and carrying out nonstandard tests to meet special requirements
- Recording product condition or behaviour during and after test and creating concise and clear test records
- Working as part of large team to coordinate testing activities and help maintain the test facilities.
- Monitoring test equipment and reporting anomalies or faults
- Working closely with clients to understand and resolve EMC test failures through investigative work
Your Profile as Senior EMC Engineer:
- Successfully completed degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent qualification with a good understanding in Physics
- Minimum 5 years practical test experience in a controlled test environment working to Automotive or Aerospace test Standards
- Familiarity with testing monitoring and control instruments
- Conscientious in attention to detail accuracy and record keeping
- Ability to communicate clearly and to deal confidently with customers
