Position Overview: McKinnis Roofing and Sheet Metal is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Roof Repair Technician to join our team. As a Roof Repair Technician you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing various types of roofing systems. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to upholding our reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections to identify roofing issues and assess repair needs.
- Repair and replace damaged roofing materials including shingles tiles and membranes.
- Locate and repair leaks and water damage.
- Install flashing and sealants to prevent future leaks.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to highquality standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry best practices.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients when necessary.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in roof repair or related field.
- Knowledge of various roofing systems and materials.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
