Matchwell has an exciting Registered Nurse Supervisor (RNs) opportunity with a respected Long term Care Facility in Augusta GA.
Salary Range: $28.00/hr $33.00/hr
Schedule: FullTime position
Position Requirements:
- Current and active RN License
- Current American Heart BLS
- Experience in the care of Geriatric patients in a long term care environment
- Minimum 3 years of manager/supervisor experience and leadership skills
- Ability to assume charge nurse position in an assigned unit.
- Ability to supervise others and maintain an empathetic understanding of the physically and mentally challenged patient
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Patient Care:Assists nursing personnel in the administration for total patient care and serve as Charge Nurse or Medication Nurse for a nursing unit as assigned. Serve as Supervisor for the facility as needed. Provides support to nursing unit/staff throughout the facility. Assess patients as needed and contact Physician as needed.
- Nursing Supervisor:Serve as Nursing Supervisor for the facility. Provide support to nursing staff throughout the facility. Assess patients as needed and contact Physician as indicated.
- Emergencies:Respond to emergency situations by initiating emergency procedures and documenting proper records of emergency care provided.
- Other Duties:Perform all other related duties/tasks as assigned.
