The position / About the Job:
In this job the Instrumentation & Commissioning engineer would be responsible for:
- Plan & schedule the Instrumentation electrical and Automation related activities for the project.
- Handle & execute simple hard/ software orders independently in consultation with PM delivering equipment/ or plants as per the contract requirements within the project budget & agreed time
- Field Instruments selection & sizing
- Preparation of Instrument Index Data sheets (Specification sheets) BOM Cable & JB schedule PLC IO Calculation/List
- Perform calculations like CV UPS & Battery heat dissipation Air consumption
- Design of PLC Panels JBs. electrical panels in low voltage.
- Understanding on Control Valve selection & sizing.
- Develop the alternative design for new product development.
- Knowledge on Instrumentation standards IEC BS ANSI NFPA ISAUL is must.
- Person should know the CE UL norms & HAZOP study.
- Review engineering documents analyse design and retrieve information to complete the project design documentation.
- Review of vendor drawings & documents technical bid evaluation
- Support for procurement action
- Coordinate the planning of the design activities.
- Understanding & assistance in design and development for following areas:
Control room layout
PLC Panel GA wiring BOM drawing
Cable Tray layout & related BOM generation
Instrument Installation /hookup Drawings
- PLCKnowledge on PLC System architecture type of PLC I/O cards HMISCADA
- Participate in proposal and sales work as & when required
- Support Supply Chain in identifying evaluating & selecting the alternate vendors.
- Cost estimation & approval of electrical systems
- Attend site meetings with customer consultants and external suppliers
Who you are
Knowledge / Qualification :
- B.E. Instrumentation & Control Engineering (required).
Skills:
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Experience in Site commissioning of Electrical and Instrumentation equipment 57 years experience with engineering and commissioning
- Good knowledge and experience with project work.
- Crosscultural awareness.
- PLC programming awareness

- Structured and systematic approach.
- Orientation on high quality and standards of work results.
- Team player with good communication and negotiation skills.
- Eager to share knowledge and experience with others.
- Customerorientation and effective in cooperation.
- Selfdriven and responsible also for others.
