Job Description
- Matric certificate
- Relevant graphic/fashion design qualification.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Relevant work experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
- An eye for fashion and design trends.
- Organised and meticulous with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and deliver against tight deadlines.
- Design Portfolio available to view.
- Keeping up todate withcurrent fashion anddesign trends and techniques in the marketplace.
- Consistent and ongoing research for newness in Product; Artwork and Trends direction.
- Liaising with Merchandiser constantly regarding activities in retail and newness in trend/ product.
- Assisting with range building according to account specificrequirements.
- Tagging and photographing samples and ranges.
- Interpreting trends and design direction to design anddevelop graphics and artworks.
- Designing and producing graphic artworks/logos/packaging/etc for fashion merchandise.
- Working closely with Merchandisers to ensure all design work is relevant and in line with customers requirements.
- Learning and understanding designrelated product costs and impact of design.
- Ensuring attention to detail for sizing colorways and placement of logos and prints.
- Checking and signing off on design submissions.
