Job Description
Responsibilities
Comprehension of engineering principles codes and standards in civil design including site layout grading erosion control storm sewer water sanitary sewer roadway and fueling design.
Possesses basic technical writing skills needed for civil reports and letters.
Ability to work within your own team as well as other internal teams and clients.
Draft plans using AutoCAD and Civil3D software.
Adjust and correlate data recognize discrepancies in results and follow operations through a detailed processes.
Assist in the preparation of improvement plans specifications supporting documents and permit applications for subdivisions commercial developments multifamily developments and public works projects.
Participate in the preparation of calculations such as storm drain wastewater water system earthwork quantities transportation cost estimates and other supporting documentation for public and private projects.

Requirements
Education
Bachelor of Engineering from a fouryear boardapproved engineering curriculum.
Experience
Typically 14 years of experience.
Possesses Engineering Intern certification or can take the Fundamentals of Engineering exam within six months of hire.
