About the role
In this role you will contribute to developing national ecological data standards and provide expert advice and services to design and build data transformation and transfer solutions that connect applications. The role works closely with biodiversity data managers data engineers data scientists and application developers.
The role contributes to the development of an effective biodiversity data ecosystem where field ecological survey data is harnessed from environmental assessments monitoring programs and scientific research programs for reuse and flows seamlessly to enable better faster datainformed decision making for our customers.

DCCEEW conserves and protects the states natural environment. It manages the NSW national park estate including its rich and diverse biodiversity and Aboriginal cultural heritage for future generations.
DCCEEW also ensures sustainable management of water resources across the state to support the environment communities and industry.
