Job Description

Role Purpose:

To assist in the collection of all outstanding monies owed to the Company in a timely manner present detailed analysis to the Credit Control Manager on a weekly basis assist in the production of reports and analyses concerning the Company and syndicates in line with the Companys regulatory requirements.

Roles and responsbilities:

  • Chase monitor and report upon overdue premiums to the Credit Control Manager.
  • Liaise with the underwriting departments where required to assist with collection of premium or renewals of business with outstanding debt.
  • Make use of Xchanging systems and reporting to ensure Brokers are continuing to settle to the business in accordance with the rest of the Lloyds Market.
  • Monitor Aged Debt and react to changes and trends both internally and externally.
  • Identify gaps in credit control practices and systems implementing measures for improvement and documenting updated credit control procedures.
  • Build and retain relationships with external and internal stakeholders. Assist in the production of weekly credit control reports and analyses for Starr companies and syndicates. Manage the issuance of monthly statement to the brokers and coordinate with the business regarding outstanding premiums. Assist in the development and implementation of new reports in line with Companys business and regulatory requirements as required. Produce weekly reports for the analysis of cash collections. Produce monthly reports for overdue premiums and monitor. Assist with and investigate any directly received cash in the bank accounts to establish allocation to policies. Ensure all agreements are processed according to the companys compliance regulatory and legal obligations. Report any suspicion of financial crime to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer immediately. Manage any potential conflicts of interest to avoid disrepute to the companys integrity. Advise Compliance of any complaints immediately.
