We are in search of Archery Specialists for our Summer Camp Program!!
Estimated hourly range: $21.25 $23.25/hour
Position Summary
As an Archery Specialist for Campers you will create a positive environment where campers learn and develop lifelong skills. You will plan teach and supervise archery activities that align with camp goals and promote individual camper growth. This role also involves ensuring the safe operation of the archery area and supporting overall camp safety. A strong knowledge of archery and basic understanding of other camp activities is required. Additionally youll assist with general camp supervision.

- Must be at least 18 years old with one year of college completed.
- Current first aid CPR and (Training provided).
- Archery experience and certifications are required. (Certificate Training Provided)
- Prior experience working with children is necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct enriching ageappropriate activities that boost camper selfesteem and success ensuring they meet camp goals and teach your specialty.
- Set a positive example through punctuality dress language and behavior.
- Maintain and safely store equipment and complete weekly activity planning sheets subject to Program Director approval.
- Actively participate in staff meetings evening programs and camp activities.
- Mentor junior staff (under 18 years old) assist in camp setup and breakdown and ensure safe camp operations for all participants.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- Communicate and work effectively with diverse age and skill groups providing clear instruction and safety training.
- Monitor camper behavior manage safety and respond to environmental hazards.
- Handle emergencies including administering first aid.
Working Conditions
- Extended periods of standing or walking may be required.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must lift equipment/supplies weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to bend and reach to interact with children.
- No hazardous or unpleasant conditions.
- Strong cognitive and communication skills to supervise and manage students during play.
