As a Rough Sleepers Outreach Recovery Coordinator youll play a vital role in engaging with rough sleepers and individuals involved in street begging across Birmingham. Your mission will be to connect them with the right services empower them to make sustainable changes and help them move towards a more stable and fulfilling future. Youll take a handson approach to engaging with individuals living on the streets of Birmingham helping them access the support they need to move towards a more stable lifestyle.
Your role will be dynamic proactive and deeply rewarding as you work directly with some of the citys most vulnerable people.This is a challenging but highly impactful role where youll be at the heart of lifechanging work supporting individuals to rebuild their futures.
Where: Birmingham
Full Time Hours: 37.5hrs per week
Full Time Salary Range: 27861..35 dependent on experience pro rata for part time hours
Contract Type: Fixed term until 31st march 2026
Street Outreach & Engagement Identify and build relationships with rough sleepers and beggars across various locations and times including those who are disengaged from services.
Assertive Outreach & Support Work closely with entrenched rough sleepers encouraging engagement with services and providing rapid assistance.
Substance Use & Healthcare Access Connect individuals with drug and alcohol support mental health services and other healthcare provisions.
Case Management & Housing Support Oversee service users treatment journeys assist in hospital discharge planning and collaborate with housing providers to secure appropriate accommodation.
Partnership & MultiAgency Work Act as the key link between CGL services rough sleeping partners hostels shelters the local council and other support agencies to coordinate care and maximise opportunities for recovery.
Crisis & Emergency Response Participate in monthly overnight street counts unsociablehour shifts and emergency interventions during severe weather conditions.
Administration & Best Practice Maintain accurate records attend case conferences and contribute to partner tasking meetings to ensure service users receive consistent and effective support.

Fulltime hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For parttime roles the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
