DIVISION/DEPARTMENT: Clinical Services
SALARY INFORMATION:$55.00 Hourly / Job Code T7001 / Pay Grade TPW
Job Responsibilities
Under general supervision performs advanced nursing functions and healthcare services in specialized areas. Operates under a written nurse protocol agreement with their delegating physician conducts complete physicals provides treatment and counsels clients. May prescribe medication in some cases. Provide professional medical services in a community health environment. Under the direction and supervision of the Medical Director the NP will provide comprehensive physicals assessment diagnosis and treatment. Other duties in relation to this overarching objective are:Performs complete evaluations/assessments of individual clients in TB STI and Family Planning programs.Documents accurately completely and timely in electronic medical record.Maintains knowledge of current practice standards and accreditation for the practice of medicine.Ensures quality assurance standards of care are met in programmatic areas.Works and communicates with clients and partners to provide information and highquality services. Displays a high level of effort and commitment to performing work.Operates effectively within the organizational structure and demonstrates responsible behavior. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate or Masters degree in nursing from an accredited college or university and/or other education requirements approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing AND certification in the specialty area(s) approved by Georgia Board of Nursing AND Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse AND Georgia license as an APRN AND CPR certification.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience working in sexual health womens health TB or family planning services preferred but not required.
