We are currently seeking a Locum Veterinarian to join our teams in Topeka Kansas.
Position Overview: As a Locum Veterinarian at Western Veterinary Partners you will have the opportunity to provide comprehensive veterinary services including examinations diagnostics treatments and surgical procedures. This position is perfect for a veterinarian seeking flexible scheduling options and the chance to be part of a few dynamic teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough health examinations and diagnose medical conditions.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct surgeries and dental procedures with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
- Administer vaccinations prescribe medications and provide wellness care.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets health and wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate medical records using practice management software.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver exceptional care.
- Ensure compliance with all veterinary standards and protocols.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- Valid Kansas veterinary license or eligibility for licensure.
- Previous experience in a veterinary practice is preferred.
- Strong clinical diagnostic and surgical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Flexibility to work varying hours including weekends and holidays if necessary.
