Job Description
Job Summary:
Preferred Care at Home Wyoming Valley seeks a compassionate and skilled Caregiver/Direct Care Worker to provide personalized care and support to individuals in their homes. This parttime hourly healthcare/medical position is in Pittston Pennsylvania. The selected individual will deliver exceptional care and promote a safe and healthy living environment for our clients.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive hourly starting rate range of $11.00 $13.00. Additional benefits may include access to healthcare benefits paid time off and flexible scheduling options.
Responsibilities:
Provide nonmedical inhome and/or community care to the agencys service recipients
Be prompt to scheduled visits and notify the supervisor immediately when unable to do so
Be familiar with all rules policies and procedures in providing the services
Follow the service plan of the individual service recipient
Keep all records and names of service recipients confidential unless authorized by the service recipients written consent
To immediately report any incident of injury to the service recipient or yourself to the supervisor
To report any suspicion of abuse or neglect to appropriate authorities and the supervisor
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Minimum of 1year experience in a healthcare or care giving role
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
Must possess communication and interpersonal skills
