Job Description

As part of our dynamic US Client Marketing team the Business Operations Manager will lead the financial operations for US Marketing Services. Marketing Services a growing sector within our company delivers exceptional value to our clients through a range of services from marketing advisory to campaign achieved through our close partnerships with Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) and sales teams.

Within our US Marketing Services Business Planning and Operations (BPO) team our focus is on supporting our Client Marketing teams by sharing best practices developing training and communication materials and advancing key strategies to drive business growth along with ensuring efficient operating processes. This unique role requires problemsolving expertise excellent communication skills and executive presence. A strong desire to drive improvement in how marketing propels our business forward is essential. Responsibilities

  • Support pipeline operations for tracking key projects and anticipated impacts on business (revenue and expense) in partnership with Client Marketing team members and internal finance and accounting stakeholders.
  • Serve as the teams regional support lead for Visa Project Central (Pipeline Management Tool) conducting training on newly released enhancements and troubleshooting any related issues with Client Marketers and Global Marketing Services team.
  • Support workstreams related to annual planning including overseeing timelines managing inputs from team identifying areas for efficiencies/savings and developing businesses cases for additional headcount and spend.
  • Develop and track annual financial goals for NA Marketing Services partnering with key stakeholders to set the right targets and reconciling goals with business and global functions.
  • Collaborate with internal legal stakeholders to identify their requirements and potential challenges in the current contract review process develop and implement streamlined processes and tools and provide necessary training and support to Client Marketers.
  • Stay updated on legal best practices and ensure continuous communication on improvements and efficiencies in legal contract review and development.
  • Identify additional analytics needs/opportunities to support the growth of Marketing Services including evaluation of project results and the development of new processes for improvements.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.


Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD)

Preferred Qualifications

5 years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 3 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or up to 2 years of relevant experience with a PhD.
Experience in Marketing Finance Consulting or Research is preferred.
Superior analytic and problemsolving skills with attention to detail and the ability to structure and analyze financial models.
Strong process orientation ability to create processes from scratch and to identify and drive continuous improvements.
Strong financial acumen and the ability to partner with all divisions of Finance.
Proficiency in Excel Word and PowerPoint comfortable managing spreadsheets devising formulas creating pivot tables and performing data analysis while also building executive presentations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills comfortable presenting to senior leaders.
Proven ability to build relationships and earn the trust and rapport of partners at multiple levels.
Ability to thrive in highpressure situations and a fastpaced matrixed environment.
Comfortable managing multiple projects and quick to adapt to shifting priorities.
Teamoriented collaborative driven resourceful innovative curious positive and proactive always looking for ways to do things better.


Additional Information :

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 510 of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $132300 to $172000 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on jobrelated factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical Dental Vision 401 (k) FSA/HSA Life Insurance Paid Time Off and Wellness Program.
