Job Description
The Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University seeks a part time faculty to teach ECN 203: Economic Ideas and Issues to undergraduate economic students through SU Continuing Education. This course introduces you to the foundation of modern Western economic thought.
Responsibilities
Duties include: Developing and/or updating class syllabus Ordering the appropriate books and material in advance of the start of class date Preparation of lectures projects and other student assignments Maintaining regularly scheduled office hours Presenting instruction based on the competencies and performance levels of the course Meeting all designed class periods Submitting completed midsemester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations Grading student assignments and exams in a timely manner
Qualifications
Minimum of M.A. in Economics with excellent teaching experience of economic courses at the undergraduate level and strong class evaluations.
