Job Description
Bachelors degree and 3 years of experience in areas of increased responsibility in higher education student advising engagement teaching or related areas. Excellent written verbal and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and collaborate with students staff faculty and external stakeholders. Ability and desire to foster a supportive and motivating environment that empowers students to reach their goals.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in Education Psychology Counseling or related field. Ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision. Experience organizing workshops seminars or academic support services aimed at student development and success. Experience in executing outreach campaigns or organizing recruitment events including the use of social media and other platforms. A strong desire for continuous learning and the ability to proactively seek out new knowledge and insights. Experience working with TRIO eligible students from diverse backgrounds especially regarding the opportunities and barriers they navigate in higher education. Familiarity with federal regulations related to grantfunded programs higher education compliance and student confidentiality.
