Lawson Lundell LLP is seeking a midlevel associate to join our established and growing litigation practice in Yellowknife. We are looking for someone who wants to get on their feet in court and work independently on a wide variety of files. We have a broad litigation practice and files would include commercial litigation administrative law employment and child protection.
Our Yellowknife office has the best of both worlds: a small collegial firm environment with the resources and client base of a large wellrespected western Canadian law firm. You will receive dedicated mentorship with senior lawyers and be supported to build connections with lawyers from the firms other offices. Additionally you will enjoy a large degree of responsibility and independence in your litigation practice.
Required qualifications:
Two to six years of relevant litigation experience
Commitment to legal excellence
Dedication to providing practical costeffective solutions for our clients
Experience in and connection to the North considered an asset
