Job Description
The Curation engineering team builds product features that are deeply engaging and uniquely Pinterest including saving and creating Pins Boards and Collages to inspire Pinners to create a life they love. Were looking for a Staff Web Engineer to be the Tech Lead across Curation Web initiatives.
What youll do:
- Lead the team in developing Pinnerfacing frontend features on Desktop Web and Mobile Web to power the future of inspiration on Pinterest.
- Drive Web technical solutions and strategic objectives across multiple teams.
- Build effective alignment with design productbackend and platform teams.
- Uplevel the team through mentorship feedback and knowledge sharing.
What were looking for:
- Deep understanding of Web development and best practices in React/Redux.
- 7 years of industry Web application development experience 1 years experience as a tech lead.
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Strong mentorship and coaching abilities.
InOffice Requirement Statement:
- We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means were not always working in an office but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
- This role will need to be in the office for inperson collaboration 12 times every 6months and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.
