Inside Sales will be responsible for identifying developing and securing sales leads for potential customers. Additionally this individual enters information on customers and potential customers into CRM communicates with customers and potential customers and works with other departments to help convert opportunities into orders for the company.
Duties include:
- Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential leads.
- Create and deliver qualified opportunities to other team members.
- Maintain and expand the companys database of prospects.
- Ensure followup by following up on leads and passing leads to appropriate team members with callstoaction dates profile information sources etc.
- Where necessary support marketing efforts such as trade shows exhibits and other events.
- Make outbound followup calls to existing clients via telephone and email.
- Handle inbound unsolicited prospect calls and emails.
- Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate CRM platform.
Minimum Requirements:- Five or more years of direct work experience in a sales role.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Have an understanding of different fabrication/machining processes.
- Ability to work efficiently with programs such as Microsoft Office.
- Ability to function in a fastpaced challenging environment as an integral part of the sales team.
