Job Description
Angott Search Group is pleased to partner with a world leading steel and mining companyin their search for a Trading Manager for their Steel Division.
This position is responsible for the deployment implementation and coordination of the regional trading business strategy of coated products predominantly together with the Business Line Heads aligned with CEO and the connection point with the supply side fundamentally in Asia. The Trading Manager will oversee budget followup as well as guarantee homogeneous administrative and commercial practices in the region. The role will be as mix of having own direct customers as well as coordination of trading activities undertaken by the existing Sales team for the full perimeter of the North American region. The Trading Manager will also be in charge of some Group Mills flat products.
The qualified candidate will have:
- A Bachelors Degree in Engineering Business Administration or a relevant field
- Previous experience in Sales for a Regional Trading Companies
- Strong negotiation skills
- Experience in customer service.
- The ability to work as a coordinator and part of a team in a fast paced multicultural and pressured environment
- Excellent communication skills that are effective with both management colleagues and clients
Frequent domestic and international travel is required (minimum once per month 25 time).
