This role involvesidentifying new business opportunities solving customer problems and providing product knowledge to meet sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the forming and shoring or concrete industriesand have a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with contractors project managers and key stakeholders in thecommercial construction sector. This role will reportto the Senior Manager ofTechnical Product Salesin ATL GA and manage a territory that covers all of TN. Day travel toMemphis Knoxville and Chattanooga will be expected with some overnight travel 20.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the forming and shoring market leveraging industry insights and technical expertise.
- Applies working knowledge and experience in outside sales continuously expanding capabilities and expertise to perform a variety of salesrelated tasks.
- Continually builds knowledge of the companys products processes and customer base to enhance sales effectiveness.
- Handles a range of assignments related to outside sales including prospecting customer meetings and relationship building.
- Analyzes situations using prescribed guidelines or policies to determine appropriate courses of action.
- Receives moderate guidance and direction while managing and executing sales tasks independently.
- Applies expanded conceptual knowledge in outside sales and continues to broaden expertise within the field.
- Understands key business drivers and uses this understanding to optimize personal sales performance.
- Provides informal guidance to new team members sharing knowledge and best practices to support their development.
- Solves straightforward problems by analyzing potential solutions using technical experience judgment and established precedents.
- Impacts the quality and effectiveness of own work and contributes to the success of the team by working within guidelines and policies.
- Clearly explains complex product or service information to customers or team members in straightforward situations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Business Civil Engineering Sales Marketing Construction Management or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in sales preferably in the construction or forming and shoring industry.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Strong understanding of concrete construction processes and structural requirements.
- Strong knowledge of sales processes customer engagement strategies and product offerings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and build relationships.
- Ability to analyze situations and solve problems using established guidelines technical experience and judgment.
- Selfmotivated and able to work independently with moderate supervision.
- Experience in identifying and understanding key business drivers to meet sales targets.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot) to track and manage sales activities.
- Demonstrated ability to provide guidance to new or less experienced team members.
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
BrandSafway offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical dental vision life and disability insurance along with a generous 401k plan. Salary range for this position is $85000 $95000 annually with an uncapped commission structure. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.
