Job Description
Position: MidLevel or Junior Combat System Engineer Foreign Military Sales (FMS)
Status: Contingent
International Systems Management Corp. (ISM) is seeking a qualified individual to provide
baseline management support for the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Combat System Engineering
team managed by Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS 4.0 in the
Washington DC area.
Applicant must have a Bachelors Degree in an Engineering Math or Science Discipline; at least
two years of professional experience in engineering projects; proficiency with Microsoft Office
Products; strong communication skills (oral and written); and ability to work both independently
and as part of a team.
Required experience includes:
Executing systems engineering processes for Department of Defense (DoD) system
development testing or delivery;
Understanding and interpreting technical requirements.
Desired experience includes:
Experience coordinating requirements across organizations;
Familiarity with processes and databases used to develop and catalog USN Combat
System requirements and specifications;
Experience with System Engineering Technical Reviews;
Understanding of FMS program requirements application of export controls and
knowledge of ITAR and TTSARB;
Understanding of Technology Security/Foreign Disclosure (TS/FD) processes
Demonstrated technical writing skills and ability to distill details to essential information.
The ideal candidate is dynamic and proactive in meeting customer needs and has the ability to
prioritize tasks and coordinate activities across numerous organizations. The position will be
located in Washington DC and will require travel including international travel up to 15
of the time. Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a DoD
Security Clearance. Applicant will work primarily from the Washington DC office including
at least one regularly scheduled day per week inperson and additional inperson days as
needed to support the customer and scheduled events.
