Eurasia Group is seeking an experienced and motivated analyst of Chinese politics and energy policy.
Candidates are expected to have:
A strong understanding of Chinas political system and economy along with geopolitics with particular expertise regarding Chinas role in global energy markets.
The ability to analyze specific sectors of the Chinese economy.
The ability to produce indepth research and forwardlooking policy analysis.
Excellent analytical and presentation (oral and written) skills in a succinct style at native English standard.
Commitment and ability to deliver on tight deadlines.
Reading writing and speaking fluency in both English and Chinese.
Familiarity and experience with managing and coordinating complex research projects.
Requirements include:
A minimum of 35 years of professional experience in a relevant field connected to producing policy analysis and/or consulting work for the private sector.
An advanced degree in political science regional studies economics or another relevant discipline.
Extensive knowledge of Chinas energy sector and dynamics in the global energy markets.
Significant incountry experience.
