About The Opportunity

As a Rehabilitation Consultant you will be the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for employers and injured workers in matters related to workplace rehabilitation and returntowork planning.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying barriers to returntowork and implementing effective strategies.
  • Preparing detailed reports to support case progress and insurance requirements.
  • Managing a caseload of clients providing returntowork assistance and case management.
  • Educating clients and employers on injury prevention and bestpractice rehabilitation strategies.
  • Conducting thorough workplace assessments ergonomic evaluations and functional assessments.
  • Liaising with employers insurers and medical professionals to create and execute rehabilitation programs.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • A current Australian drivers licence.
  • Strong understanding of workplace health and safety principles.
  • Proactive communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • 1 year of experience in workplace rehabilitation workers compensation or injury management.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex injury cases and develop appropriate management strategies.
  • A Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy Physiotherapy Rehabilitation Counselling Exercise Physiology or a related field.
