Job Description
Foster Youth Mentoring Program Intern duties include but not limited to:
- Interview and assess Foster Youth referred
- Interview and assess prospective Volunteer Mentors
- Participate in team meetings to share assessments and present potential matches
- Assist in trainings for Volunteer Mentors
- Facilitate Match Meetings with Youth Volunteer Guardian and Caregiver
- Provide ongoing match support and supervision including midyear and annual meetings and oneyear match meetings
- Participate in recruitment public relations and group outings
- Coordinate and administer surveys to Youth Mentors and Guardians
- Provide case management necessary to support the match
- Coordinate plan and participate in monthly group checkin with Volunteer Mentors
- Other services necessary for the enrichment of the internship experience
