Ross Downing Buick GMC in Gonzales is looking for great people! As the Service Technician youll be responsible for:
Performing work as outlined on repair orderswith efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards
Diagnosingcause of any malfunction and perform the repair
Keeping the shop area neat and clean and to be able to account for dealership tools at all times
Ensure that the customers vehicles are kept clean
Road testing vehicles to ensure quality repair
Documenting work performed on the back of repair order

Tech Specific
- Paid time and a half after 40 hours for Master Techs
- Latest and greatest with all equipment and in the shop including 15 new lifts and the newest electronic diagnostic equipment

- Pay based on experience and qualifications
Qualifications:
Okay weve laid out what the job is now are you qualified Below are the minimum qualifications were looking for in a Service Technician.
- Three 3 years of automotive mechanical experience or automotive trade school
- GM Certification is preferred but we will accept other manufacturers certifications
- Technical or trade school degree preferred
- Valid drivers license and good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
