Job Description
Summary/Objective:
The Equipment Operator safely operates various pieces of heavy equipment in the solar/electrical industry.

- Operate equipment (excavator backhoeand other heavy equipment)
- Keep equipment andsite clean at all times.
- Erosion and sediment control
- Perform all pre and posttrip inspections and complete daily inspection reports.
- Operate vehicles and equipment in a safe manner. Follow proper procedures and complete required documentation
- Understand and comply with all safety rules set forth by the company and governmental regulatory agencies.
- Wear required PPE.
- Follow all environmental regulations and clean up any excess material that could cause environmental problems.
- Lock and secure assigned equipment daily at the end of the shift or as otherwise required
- Other duties as assigned.
- Perform miscellaneous duties and outside labor as requested which may include but not limited to cleaning up around the sitesweeping shoveling picking up equipment or supplies.
Work Environment:
- Work time will be outdoor/field.
