Job Description
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic with strong expertise in generator maintenance and repairs to join our clients growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a wellestablished company that services a wide range of commercial industrial and remote clients.
As the preferred recruiter for this position were looking for a motivated professional who takes pride in their work delivers high standards and has a proactive problemsolving approach.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose maintain and repair diesel engines and generator systems
- Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance onsite and in the workshop
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults
- Ensure all work is completed to safety and compliance standards
- Maintain accurate service records and reports
- Occasionally travel to client sites (travel allowance provided where applicable)
Requirements
- Trade Certificate in Diesel Mechanics (or equivalent) Essential
- Proven experience working with diesel generators (all sizes and brands)
- Strong faultfinding and diagnostic skills (mechanical and electrical)
- Valid drivers licence (HR desirable)
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Commitment to safety and quality
