We are seeking a detailoriented and organized individual to join our team as an Automobile Title Clerk. As an integral part of our automotive dealership you will be responsible for managing the title and registration processes for vehicles ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills a strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of automotive title procedures.
Responsibilities:
Title Processing: Handle the entire process of obtaining and processing vehicle titles for new and used vehicles acquired by the dealership. This includes verifying information preparing necessary documentation and submitting applications to the appropriate state agencies.
Registration: Coordinate vehicle registration and renewal processes in accordance with state guidelines. Collaborate with customers internal departments and government agencies to ensure timely and accurate completion of registration requirements.
Documentation: Maintain organized and accurate records of all title and registration transactions. Ensure proper filing and storage of documents to comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Title Research: Conduct thorough research to resolve any discrepancies related to vehicle titles. Collaborate with relevant parties such as previous owners lienholders and state agencies to rectify any issues.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to titles registrations and documentation. Assist customers in understanding the processes and requirements involved.
Data Entry: Accurately input data into the dealerships systems and software related to titles registrations and other relevant information.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the title and registration processes such as missing documents incorrect information or delays in processing.
