Nine 9 years experience in Software Engineering Modern Java Frameworks and Libraries (e.g. Spring Guava) Bachelors in related field; seven 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and nine 13 years relevant experience.

Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer to design develop and implement complicated and difficult software capabilities for computer based systems. Will work with other talented engineers with modern tools and technologies.
This position allows for partial telework.
Clearance
A current Secret level security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

- At least 9years of experience in Software Engineering Modern Java Frameworks and Libraries (e.g. Spring Guava) and a Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and13years relevant experience.
- Experience in designing enterprise APIs
- Experience in RESTful web services
- Experience in Microservices architecture
- Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigms
- Experience with the agile software lifecycle
- Has a proven ability to learn quickly and works well both independently as well as in a team setting
- Experience with the Linux operating system
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Git Nexus Maven)
- Must be able to work in a hybrid environment spending average 12days per week on customer site in Columbia MD However flexibility is essential to accommodate any changes in the schedule
- Experience Kubernetes Docker and Enterprise Messaging
- Prior experience supporting cyber and/or network security operations within a large enterprise as either an analyst engineer architect or developer
- Experience in cloud based technologies (AWS Azure)
- Scripting experience
- Big Data Platform
- Understanding of AGILE software development methodologies and use of standard software development tool suites(e.g. JIRA Confluence Github Enterprise etc.
