Quality Manager
Maple Grove MN Direct Hire $75k 110k
Konik is partnering with a localprovider of industrial air filtration solutions that is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to develop implement and maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) that ensures compliance with industry standards and enhances customer satisfaction. This role will focus on ISO9001 implementation with design control quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives. This is for a smaller company so you should be comfortable being the sole person directly in charge of quality however there are not any direct reports for this role. Quality Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of ISO9001 with design control including training selfaudits and compliance verification.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement efforts.
- Develop and standardize work instructions inspection processes and documentation to ensure product consistency.
- Oversee internal audits manage corrective actions and report on quality performance to leadership.
- Handle MRB processes including deviation management and customer warranty claims.
- Ensure compliance with product certification requirements (CE ETL CARB CSA UKCA).
- Manage inspection processes first article inspections and calibration of equipment.
Quality Manager Qualifications:
- 7 years in a progressive quality role preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of ISO9001 with design control and experience building a QMS from the ground up.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma tools 5S SPC Kaizen PFMEA Control Plans 8D).
- Expertise in root cause analysis CAPA PPAP GD&T and quality control for metal fabrication.
- Handson experience with inspection equipment and processes.
- Strong problemsolving skills with a sense of urgency to drive quality improvements.
