License Practical Nurse
Description of the role
As a License Practical Nurse at Neulife Rehabilitation you will play a crucial role in providing highquality and compassionate care to our patients. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the wellbeing of our residents.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments to patients according to the physicians orders
- Monitor patients vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Assist with the activities of daily living including bathing dressing and feeding
- Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
Requirements
- Valid License Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Florida
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferably in a rehabilitation facility or longterm care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Job Summary
- Cares for spinal cord and TBI patients or persons with disabilities admissions from hospitals and similar institutions.
General Accountabilities
- Administers prescribed medications or starts intravenous fluids noting times and amounts on patients charts.
- Observes patients charting and reporting changes in patients conditions.
- Answers patients calls and determines how to assist them.
- Measures and records patients vital signs.
- Provides basic patient care or treatments.
- Works as part of a healthcare team to assess patient needs plan and modify care and implement interventions.
- Supervises nurses aides or assistants.
- Assembles and uses equipment such as catheters tracheotomy tubes or oxygen suppliers.
- Records food and fluid intake and output.
- Collects samples such as blood and urine from patients and performs routine laboratory tests on samples.
- Prepares patients for examinations tests or treatments and explain procedures.
- Helps patients with bathing dressing maintaining personal hygiene moving in bed or standing and walking.
- Sterilizes equipment and supplies.

Job Qualifications
- Education: Associates degree in nursing
- Experience: LPN license with 12 years of related experience
