ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated hospitality or restaurant cooking and serving experience is preferred. Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High School education or the equivalent in education and experience. One 1 or more years of recent and related hospitality or restaurant experience.
CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS: ServSafe Certification or similar is preferred.
OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES: Ability to prioritize quickly and appropriately during high volume periods.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Essential duties involve performing physical exertion such as frequent brisk walking climbing stairs bending stretching reaching pushing kneeling squatting crouching stooping and standing for an entire work shift with standard breaks. Essential duties involve working in a small confined area with floors that may become slippery in the process of preparing food and beverages. Essential duties require lifting and cleaning plates pots pans and other cooking utensils containing food. Essential duties may require lifting up to 30 pounds to stack store or move kitchen restaurant or general office supplies and equipment.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
$16.00 an hour based on experience
