Job Description
The Jacobs School of Music seeks candidates for a tenured or tenuretrack position in music theory. Expected start date: August 1 2025. Responsibilities will include teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in music theory including core theory classes in largelecture format; supervising research in area(s) of expertise; maintaining an active program of research and scholarly publication; and participating in departmental committees doctoral advisory committees and other departmental activities as well as service on Jacobs School of Music committees.
