JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for leading the content design team for Talent Development. Responsible for assisting in the development implementation update and follow through of the Universal Orlando operational training program content and materials including but not limited to eLearning video PowerPoint and support documents. In conjunction with Senior Manager Research develop and customize learning solutions to support those needs; manage administration and marketing of classes and workshops and assist in measurement for assessing knowledge and application of learnings from the learning experience.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for leading the content design team through the creation of development training and support materials. Ensures materials and presentations are current and relevant. Maintain understanding of existing and emerging media creation (Adobe Creative & Articulate Suite) & delivery technology to create and manage the creation & delivery processes for training content across all media types (audio photo video print mixed reality etc.
- Designs and customizes program materials; including facilitator guides participant workbooks presentations job aids. Incorporates ongoing evaluation information into class materials on a continuous improvement cycle. Researches and customizes new learning solutions not limited to instructorled and online learning modules
- Builds and maintains strong client and subject matter expert relationships to gather ongoing needs assessment information and build curriculum content.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy procedures training and team member involvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelors degree from a four year college or university.
EXPERIENCE:
- 3 years of design experience within a multidivisional servicebased business environment required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 years of experience in a leadership role managing people and/or projects.
- Demonstrated ability to write and create training materials.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of leadership.
