Job Description

Synterex Inc. is a consortium of highly experienced clinical development professionals specializing in medical writing submission publishing and clinical science and operations support. Synterex offers remote or onsite services with a focus on providing clear concise accurate and fully compliant documentation from early drug development through postapproval.

Synterex is seeking a highlymotivated Salesperson to join our team and help us expand our client base in the biotech industry. As a Salesperson you will be responsible for selling our cuttingedge AI products designed specifically for biotech applications to clients ranging from startups to established pharmaceutical companies. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in IT sales with a focus on artificial intelligence solutions and a strong understanding of the biotech industry.


Length of assignment: Fulltime


Location: Fully remote must be able to attend occasional client meetings on site as needed


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities in the biotech industry by leveraging existing relationships conducting market research and attending industry events.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our AI product offerings their applications in the biotechnology sector and their competitive landscape.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients highlighting the benefits and features of our AI solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including product development marketing and customer success to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain an uptodate CRM database with accurate customer information and sales activity records.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and activity reports to management highlighting successes challenges and opportunities.
  • Stay current with industry trends emerging technologies and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.


Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field such as Business Marketing Biotechnology or Computer Science.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT sales with a focus on artificial intelligence solutions.
  • Proven experience in selling to the biotech or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with clients at all levels of an organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategies and to achieve sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to quickly adapt to new situations.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the biotech industry including key players market trends and regulatory environments.
  • Experience selling AI solutions designed specifically for biotech applications.
  • Established network of contacts within the biotech industry.
