Job Description
Ohio Wesleyan University is a selective private undergraduate liberal arts institution founded in 1842 and located just 20 miles north of Columbus.
The Dept. of World Languages and Cultures at Ohio Wesleyan University is looking for a parttime instructor in Classical Studies to teach two courses in the spring semester of 2026: LATIN 111 (second semester Latin) and CLAS 122 (Classical Mythology). The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Classics or a related field. Doctoral candidates will also be considered. Some experience teaching Latin and Classics courses at the undergraduate level is expected.
At Ohio Wesleyan a residential liberal arts institution all classes are taught in an inperson facetoface setting. We do not offer online courses during spring and fall semesters.
Pay is $5000 per course.
