Job Description
We are seeking a team player that possesses a strong attention to detail. This position is with an industryleading logistics processing company in Parma Heights. We believe in building trust and cultivating community with both our partners and our internal team members join the winning team today!
We are seeking a DSR to join our team that possesses a strong eye for detail and an ability to comprehensivelyreview contracts with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry
- Able to interpret tariffs and/or pricing agreements and contracts for all modes of transportation
- Ability to read the NMFC Guide and apply correct freight class to all commodities
- Possess knowledge of how to apply the linear foot rule
- Able to apply the bumping rule
- Able to interpret rates and apply the lowest applicable freight rate/cost
- Knowledge of FSC charges based on pricing vs. DOE published scales
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
- High school degree or 1 year(s) freight/logistics experience
- Microsoft Office experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational aptitude
Preferences:
- Logistics experience preferred
- Understanding of FreitRater rates contracts and audit process
