Job Description
Salary/Position Classification
- $15.00 Hourly NonExempt
- 1020 hours per week
- Prefered availability between 10:30a2pm MondayFriday
- 100 Remote Work Availability: No
- Hybrid Work Availability: No
Purpose of Position
This is a parttime nonbenefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Free meal with every 3 hour shift!
Duties & Responsibilities
- Setup the tables lay table linens chairs silverware centerpieces glassware etc. as assigned
- Attend to the guests needs and requests.
- Server must have knowledge on what food he or she is serving in the case of a guest asking.
- Promptly bus dishes as guests complete each course and/or meal
- Perform cleaning tasks and breakdown of service including washing and putting away dishes
- Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards
- Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Provide exceptional customer service to our guests
- Availability needed for weekends and evenings flexible schedule can be arranged
Required Competencies
- Must be able to work with the preparation and disposal of fish poultry beef lamb pork and other meat products in professional culinary commercial kitchen.
- Must be able to adhere to all safety and sanitation policies which include removal of all jewelry and piercings except for a plain wedding band while working in our facilities.
- Hairnets and beard restraints are a requirement in our food preparation areas
- Incumbents should have an optimistic attitude willingness to learn new skills high degree of integrity and a strong work ethic
Minimum Requirements
- Able to stand on ones feet for 3 4 hours.
- Able to move up to 45 lbs.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have a valid drivers license
