The Jurisdictional Consultant II will accurately collect and appraise basic information (e.g. nameplate data construction stamps sizing testing maintenance operation and condition) of equipment installations. The Jurisdictional Consultant II will have an understanding of and be able to consult on regulatory or jurisdictional requirements and FM Standards as part of the pressure equipment evaluation process. Clients will be appropriately informed of actions needed for compliance and risk reduction.
Candidates for this position shall have a National Board Inservice commission and have or obtain state/provincial jurisdictional certificate of competency for the jurisdictions in which they will be providing Jurisdictional services.
Any additional training and experience required for obtaining certifications commissions or licenses will be provided. Jurisdictional Consultant II will demonstrate competence in handling field work and related administrative tasks for the most common occupancies and hazards with decreasing guidance and supervision.
The Jurisdictional Consultant II may be asked to conduct incident investigations of pressure equipment at the discretion of the Operations Chief Inspector.
The salary range for this position is $88400 to $110500. The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location individual education skills and experience.
