Job Summary
We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our team in Lenexa Kansas. The individual will perform a variety of engineering duties such as design design specifications software and hardware design and development troubleshooting integration and maintenance tasks required to build or support SCADA/Automation projects in the electric utility environments.

We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our team in Lenexa Kansas. The individual will perform a variety of engineering duties such as design design specifications software and hardware design and development troubleshooting integration and maintenance tasks required to build or support SCADA/Automation projects in the electric utility environments.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or related field
- Equivalent Experience in Power Engineering SCADA Engineering Network Engineering or Electrical Panel Integration
- Experience in designing and developing control panels including layout wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Experienced in conducting testing troubleshooting and debugging of SCADA systems
- 13 years experience in the Utility Industry and/or SCADA
- Minimum one year experience in Automation and Controls Projects demonstrating PM scoping scheduling and tracking projects skills
- Experience with substation RTUs/IO devices/IEDs
- Demonstrated knowledge of MODBUS DNP and other industrial protocols
- Programming/scripting with VB6/VBA/SQL/Perl/Python
- Knowledge of HMI and SCADA Systems
- Relay programming basic a plus (SEL ABB Basler)
- Have provided technical support during installation commissioning and maintenance of system panels
Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or similar design software - Excellent verbal and written communication
- Selfmotivated detail oriented team oriented results driven
- Able to share knowledge in a highperformance team of engineers sales clients and other professionals
- Ability to travel up to 10 for project installation and commissioning
