Full Time Spring/Summer Fixed Term Employment Opportunity

Spring (MayJune) & Summer (late JuneSeptember 1 2025dates TBD)

New hire$98.33 per day & Returning staff$103.50 per day

Location: Camp Stephens Lake of the Woods Kenora Ontario (Live on Site)

As a key member of the Leadership Staff this role assists the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and meal service. Responsibilities include delivering nutritious meals maintaining food safety standards and ensuring a positive efficient kitchen environment that enhances the camp experience.

Are you the right fit

  • Assist in menu planning food ordering and ensuring timely highquality meal service for campers and staff.
  • Oversee food safety standards and risk management systems conducting regular inspections of kitchen and food equipment to ensure compliance with industry best practices and guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen dining hall and equipment for a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef on budget management and costeffective procurement of food and supplies.
  • Provide feedback to kitchen staff and prepare an endofseason report with recommendations and inventory details.
  • Support training and development of the Kitchen Team to foster a cohesive skilled staff.

  • Culinary and Food Service Experience
