Position overview:

Eurasia Group the worlds top political risk management firm is looking for a highcaliber leading global expert to join the firm as the Head of Human Resources. The leader will serve as a critical partner to the firms CEO senior leadership managers and employees and is directly responsible for strategizing implementing and managing crucial human resource (HR) processes and programs and overseeing office management. The role requires strong HR and business acumen and the ability to influence and partner crossfunctionally to impact strategic and operational objectives. With a global footprint and aggressive growth agenda the firms Head of Human Resources must be a highcapacity thinker and agile administrator who is innovative yet pragmatic. More specifically in this role you will do:

  • Work strategically with the CEO & Director of Strategic Operations to establish department goals objectives and systems to support its initiatives.
  • Drive and maximize business effectiveness through optimum resource alignment (people process structure) compensation design and performance measurement and business/HR programs analysis.
  • Develop and manage innovative strategies and full lifecycle programming to achieve recruitment and retention optimization. Develop effective onboarding and offboarding programs.
  • Manage the companys talent management program through effective introductory programs and ongoing performance management. Formulate partnerships across the company to support and impact its people strategies and drive employee engagement through performance management.
  • Manage the compensation and incentive program; effectively communicate the programs to internal constituents.
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues and works with business unit management to address employee grievances.
  • Collaborate with managers and employees to effectively deliver global HR programs and resources related to diversity equity and inclusion and other human capital initiatives such as change management staffing workforce succession planning and performance feedback.
  • Manage compliance with all employmentrelated federal and state legislation. Monitor the administration of established standards and procedures while identifying opportunities for improvement and resolving discrepancies. Develop reports and oversee the maintenance of department records. Assist with the yearend audit related to the salary benefits retirement plan calculations office management accounts.
  • Develop and administer benefit programs policies and procedures to ensure competitive and costeffective offerings. Work collaboratively with brokers and vendors to develop and communicate benefit programs and ensure all compliance requirements (i.e. ACA and ERISA) are met and maintained.
  • Monitor the employee handbook for compliance; recommend enhancement opportunities and inclusion of HR best practices.
  • Oversee global payroll administration and interfaces with benefits vendors and payroll service.

Qualifications:

  • 10 to 15 years of progressive HR leadership across talent management employee relations and department administration. Resultsorientated and a track record of success in delivering on business objectives.
  • Strong persuasive communication in writing business presentations and interpersonal communication. The ability to carry a room shape thinking and drive dynamic HR solutions to firmwide operating committees and working groups.
  • Indepth experience with compensation design performance measurement and talent development in a highgrowth environment. Experience driving the overall talent management strategy and implementation including workforce planning recruiting interviewing hiring training and development; performance planning management development and improvement; and succession planning.
  • Compliance and regulatory expertise. Experience running a robust employee relations process and employee discipline program. Familiarity with employment law and experience working with outside counsel helpful. Excellent interpersonal skills including conflict resolution and relationshipbuilding skills.
  • Previous experience navigating global employment frameworks immigration global payroll and onboarding processes etc.
  • Education:
    1. Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Business or a related field required.
    2. Masters Degree in Business or Human Resources Management or a related field preferred.
