The Associate Director Health Equity and Access will actively develop and align Wellness programming with the Thriving Student Model. Create develop and lead trainings for USD Community on Health Equity and Access best practices and initiatives. Create educational and programmatic offerings focused on Health Equity and Access for students with marginalized identities. Lead alcohol and other drug individual assessments counseling and consultations facilitate groups with an emphasis on harm and risk reduction. Designs coordinates and implements prevention initiatives for the university community. Maintains and enhances clinical protocols and processes. Collaborate with other Student Wellness departments in creating and facilitating outreach programs trainings and activities. Lead integrated wellbeing initiatives programs and activities in the new Palomar Health Student Wellness Center at the University of San Diego. Participates in supporting training programs including the provision of clinical supervision for eligible trainees. Adheres to the professional regulations mandated by the state of California. Utilizes electronic medical record software to document clinical activity. Participates in Integrated Care Model working with various mental health and medical providers and directly leads elements of the health promotion and prevention efforts with a specific emphasis on alcohol and other . Participates in the Student Wellness oncall mental health coverage and support to the USD Community (nights and weekends as needed). Other duties as assigned.

The salary range provided in this posting reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered or earned is dependent on experience education and other factors including departmental budget.
