Adding Compassionate Companion Drivers to our team!
What is a Companion Driver Companion Drivers are purposedriven individuals who help riders that need a little extra assistance making it to their destination. Companion Drivers:
Transport older adults people with disabilities and those with mobility impairments DoorThroughDoor ensuring safe arrival at their destination.
Offer physical assistance for those with mobility or cognitive impairments including offering an arm for support or folding walkers or wheelchairs.
Provide companionship services for socially isolated individuals
Much like a traditional rideshare driver youll provide transportation but as a Companion Driver were slowing down having conversations offering a hand into and out of the vehicle and providing that extra bit of assistance our riders need.
Qualifications:
Caregiving experience Community Health Worker (CHW) training preferred
Authentic passion for helping older adults
Minimum 21 Years of Age
Have your own 4door car that is 2014or newer with full insurance coverage
Have a clean driving record and background check
Flexible availability during the week 9am5pm
COVIDVaccine (First 2 Vaccines Booster) or Medical/Religious Exemption
LiveScan TBTest Drug Testing &CPRCertification
