Job Description
Were on the hunt for a Linux / Midrange Systems Engineer to join our Technical Enablement team in a brandnew State Government customer account based in East Perth WA.
In this role youll play a key part in designing managing and optimising Linuxbased server environments and midrange systems. This is your chance to work with cuttingedge technologies while making a real impact in a complex highdemand environment.
Were building a team focused on innovation security and service excellence across Technical Enablement Cyber & Information Security User Experience and Service Engagement. Youll collaborate with industry experts tackle exciting challenges and help drive the future of IT operations.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Managing and maintaining Linux and midrange systems.
- Automating system administration tasks to improve efficiency.
- Troubleshooting optimising and securing systems to keep everything running smoothly.
- Working in a Hybrid Compute Infrastructure team supporting server technologies onpremises virtual servers and cloud computing environments.
What Were Looking For:
- Handson experience with Linux and Unixbased midrange systems.
- Experience with Linux servers virtualisation and cloud computing
- Strong knowledge of automation and configuration management tools.
- A passion for problemsolving troubleshooting and optimising complex IT environments.
- Great communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
