SUMMARY
Underdirection of a physician in the North Shore Physician Group (NSPG) officesprovides urgent care to patients. Responsible for providing family/internalmedicine services including assessing and managing patients in the outpatientsetting following established standards and practices. Services care mayinclude performing complete histories and physical exams performing orordering simple diagnostic tests prepare a diagnosis and implement proceduresfor illnesses as well as urgent cases.

- Knowledge of minor surgical proceduresand equipment.
- CPR Certification for HealthcareProfessionals.
EDUCATION
- Required tohave completed a Masters Degree program and have graduated from a PhysicianAssistant program approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied HealthEducation Programs (CAAHEP) or;
- Graduate of an accredited school ofnursing with a Masters degree.
LICENSES CERTIFICATIONS andREGISTRATIONS
- Must be currentlylicensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Physician Assistant or;
- Current Massachusetts state license asa registered Nurse Practitioner.
EXPERIENCE
- Up to 1 yearexperience as physicians assistant preferably in a family/internal medicineprimary care setting or;
- Minimum of 1 year experience as anurse practitioner in a family medicine primary care or pediatric setting.
